Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year of prior relevant experience required.
Working knowledge of computer systems and computer administration.
Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to pass a NASA background investigation.
Must be able to pass an initial and random drug testing.
Must have and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

Four (4) years of prior relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, tugs, golf carts, pallet jacks) to receive, deliver, move, locate, relocate, stack, and count production and non-production parts.
Read production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine material types, quantities, availability, and order priorities.
Direct or request information from other material handlers to expedite transfers between stock and production areas.
Identify damaged parts in kits and notify the plant; hold incomplete kits until replacements are made.
Unload inbound shipments, load outbound shipments, and move product to designated storage or staging areas.
Perform picking and staging to ensure the exact number and type of product is ready for daily production.
Operate equipment safely and efficiently, following prescribed work methods.
Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct cycle counts, and ensure proper stock rotation.
Verify received materials for part numbers, condition, and discrepancies.
Assist in physical inventories and may perform other duties as assigned.
