Tessera is seeking a Motivated and Hardworking Material Coordinator with a Positive/Professional attitude. This role involves determining needs, ordering, and issuing supplies, tracking overdue materials, and distributing materials to production areas. The coordinator will maintain perpetual inventory records, read production schedules to determine material requirements, and support property audits. Key responsibilities include ensuring the proper receipt, storage, issue, transfer, and disposition of government property, tracking tools for calibration, and operating a forklift safely. The position requires knowledge of applicable Federal, State, DOE, Corporate, and Plant rules and regulations, supporting maintenance technicians with material needs, and coordinating material availability to prevent maintenance delays. The role also involves monitoring purchase requests, expediting critical parts, tracking backorders, and coordinating with vendors and buyers. The Material Coordinator must exercise good judgment, flexibility, and sensitivity, foster positive working relationships, and communicate professionally with customers. Operating company vehicles for material pickup and delivery is required, along with a strong computer and systems background. Maintaining tool room inventory and organization, and ensuring accountability of Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), and customer-owned assets are also key duties. Participation in safety, health, and environmental programs, and maintaining professionalism in appearance and demeanor are expected. All other duties as assigned.
