About The Position

As a Material Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring all relevant standards of material usage and Finished product delivery are respected along the manufacturing process and providing support to Production teams to analyze nonconformities and to identify improvement opportunities for material reception, consumption, and control. This role is key for maintaining the flow of materials necessary for production and operational success. Responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of materials in manufacturing production — from line delivery and inventory management to disposal.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Manufacturing and/or Logistics.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Must be able to commute to the DIA surrounding area
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen position not eligible for sponsorship.
  • Be legally authorized to work in the US

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in WMS is desired.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desired

Responsibilities

  • Lead Finished Goods, Raw and Pack material adherence to batch record standards.
  • Lead Material inventory process and gap analysis to achieve excellent inventory control results per shift.
  • Participate the execution of daily direction setting, retrieve material nonconformities information from reporting systems, identifying the major causes of losses and establishing with the team a daily plan to improve performance.
  • Execute Material movements in our system to accurately reflect the material status (e.g. consumed, rejected, to be scrapped).
  • Provide support to production-relevant departments related to quality performance and assessment of the product quality in line with QMS (Quality Management Systems) procedures.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure a balance between excess and shortage, which could impact production schedules.
  • Perform Shift inventory counts at the line and local material warehouse and perform gap analysis to achieve excellent inventory control.
  • Lead the Reject and return material process in our Operation Lines
