Requirements

• Utilizing proper protective equipment, lab coat, gloves, and face shields.
• Efficiency and attention are key in the process of specimens.

Responsibilities

• Working in the logistics department receiving shipments through vendors. You'll be working with FedEx, UPS, Airport Cargos Shipments and 3rd party vendors. Ensuring that correct shipment has been received for lab.
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner. Utilizing proper protective equipment, lab coat, gloves, and face shields.
• Triaging lab requisitions and patient samples for speedy process through the lab. Efficiency and attention are key in the process of specimens.
• Sending out returns to clients, hospitals, and other labs for processing. Working with FedEx, UPS, and vendors to ensure correct returns to offices.
• Keeping accurate counts of all pieces coming through the lab and ensuring that all packages are accounted for and processed.
