Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for the Material Control Room Operation. The team member will perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in the Kitting Room. The Material Control Technician I is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate issuance and delivery of materials required for production and ensuring the Material Control Room has the proper workflow to meet the demand. Applicable standard operating procedures and following through on all material movements to guarantee they are handled in accordance with applicable FDA and cGMP procedures. This position will work during the core business hours and requires working an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday. First shift will work 6:00am-2:30pm, second shift 2:00pm -10:30pm and third shift 10:00pm – 6:30am. Business needs may necessitate the need to adjust shift start and end times and days. Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for the Material Control room operations. They are responsible for the timely and accurate transfer of components between the warehouse and cleanroom following standard operating procedures in the Insulet Quality System as well as transactions in the ERP system (SAP). This is a Medical Device manufacturing site compliant to 21 CFR/ISO 13485 regulations.
