About The Position

Ford Motor Company is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Supervisor to join our Parts Distribution Center team at the Memphis Complex. In this vital onsite role, you will lead a skilled team, ensuring safety protocols are rigorously followed, inventory is accurately managed, and orders are fulfilled efficiently and on time. You'll be at the heart of our day-to-day operations, driving performance and fostering a positive work environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2-3 years of experience in supervisory roles, manufacturing, military or other relevant experience.
  • Internship and co-op experience will be considered
  • Ability to work rotating shifts / hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Experience with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Office, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a Union environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an hourly unionized team responsible for Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping.
  • Deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, Absenteeism.
  • Act as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance.
  • Lead and direct a team of employees across various warehouse functions, including Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping, ensuring the team consistently ships high-quality products and meets or exceeds production targets.
  • Take ownership of team performance, addressing shortcomings proactively and celebrating successes.
  • Prioritize critical tasks and effectively allocate human resources to maximize efficiency.
  • Apply for a "Bias for Action," promptly and decisively addressing safety and quality issues to prevent larger problems.
  • Identify and analyze problems, developing and implementing effective solutions, making timely and well-informed decisions, and adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Embrace a servant leadership style, focusing on building high performance, winning teams and investing in their growth.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating your team to achieve shared goals.
