As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be a pivotal leader, embodying Ford's commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and a people-first culture. Your responsibilities will include leading an hourly unionized team responsible for Receiving, Packaging, Replenishment, Picking, and Shipping. You will deliver objectives related to Cost, Quality, Safety, Efficiency, and Absenteeism. You will act as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance. You will lead and direct a team of employees across various warehouse functions, ensuring the team consistently ships high-quality products and meets or exceeds production targets. You will take ownership of team performance, addressing shortcomings proactively and celebrating successes. You will prioritize critical tasks and effectively allocate human resources to maximize efficiency. You will apply for a "Bias for Action," promptly and decisively addressing safety and quality issues to prevent larger problems. This includes identifying and analyzing problems, developing and implementing effective solutions, making timely and well-informed decisions, and adapting to changing circumstances. You will embrace a servant leadership style, focusing on building high performance, winning teams and investing in their growth. You will foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating your team to achieve shared goals. You will utilize data and insights to slash downtime and quality defects, driving quantifiable improvements in efficiency and quality.
