About The Position

Neapco is seeking a results-driven Material Control Superintendent for its Driveline facility in Belleville, Michigan. The position reports to the Plant MPL Manager and oversees inventory control and warehouse operations in a manufacturing environment. Compensation depends on qualifications.

Requirements

At least 5 years of inventory control, materials management, or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading teams.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Lean tools.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, business management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Oversee inventory control processes for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods to ensure accuracy.
Direct warehouse operations, material handling, receiving, and the internal movement of materials to production lines.
Coordinate with production, purchasing, and planning teams to ensure material availability and reduce downtime and shortages.
Supervise, train, and develop material handling and warehouse personnel across shifts.
Lead cycle counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution to maintain inventory integrity.
Drive initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
