About The Position

HL Mando America Corporation is offering Material Control Specialist positions in Hogansville, Georgia. This role is responsible for developing and executing material control plans, managing supplier relationships, and overseeing transportation logistics. The specialist will manage inventory levels for various parts to meet target inventory plans, ensure high On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery rates from global suppliers, and manage supplier relationships across the US, Mexico, and China. Daily or weekly purchase order (PO) plans will be released to local and international suppliers. The role involves utilizing Oracle ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and 3rd Party Logistics Portals to collect and analyze large datasets for optimization. Responsibilities include reviewing demand forecasts and shipment plans, monitoring international shipment and transit status, and managing monthly supplier payments, receiving analysis, and Accounts Payable (AP) analysis to provide accurate data to the CFM team. The specialist will also handle Engineering Order (EO) changes related to price and item version adjustments, and manage obsolete materials. Continuous collaboration with international suppliers is expected to improve service levels and ensure stable product supplies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in business or a related field and 2 years of experience performing data analysis.
  • 2 years of experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Alternatively, a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in business or a related field and 1 year of experience performing data analysis and using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute material control plans.
  • Manage supplier relationships and transportation.
  • Manage inventory amounts for each level of parts to meet inventory plan targets.
  • Manage On-Time Delivery (OTD) and ensure a high level of On-Time In-Full (OTIF) delivery of materials from global suppliers.
  • Manage relationships with US, Mexico, and China suppliers.
  • Release PO plans to local and international suppliers on a daily or weekly basis.
  • Use Oracle ERP, WMS, and 3P Logistics Portals to collect system data and optimize/sort big data.
  • Review demand forecasts and shipment plans.
  • Monitor international on-board status and transit status.
  • Responsible for monthly suppliers’ payment closing, receiving analysis, and AP analysis to provide CFM team accurate data.
  • Responsible for any EO change related to price and item version adjustment.
  • Responsible for balancing out obsolete materials.
  • Collaborate with international suppliers to improve service level continuously and ensure stable product supplies.
