About The Position

This role participates in the daily operations of the Material Control Team, focusing on ordering parts, inventory management, and managing new programs/EO changes. The specialist will analyze demand, update system information, release purchase orders, manage supplier performance, and ensure accurate inventory records. Key responsibilities also include managing delivery schedules, controlling costs, and supporting new program launches and engineering order changes.

Requirements

4-year university degree and/or comparable background of work-related experience in supply chain management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SAP, etc.
Interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Self-motivated and positive attitude.
Must be at least 18 years of age due to federal labor law requirements.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Release PO(Demand) to supplier: Analyze long-term plan demand, update BOM and part information, release PO to suppliers weekly, manage suppliers based on performance metrics, enter ARNs and check ASNs accurately and on time, avoid unplanned premium freight and excess inventory, perform monthly closing to ensure balance of ARNs and actual receipts, and communicate with suppliers and relevant teams.
Inventory Management: Set up and maintain proper inventory levels (minimize without shortages), manage target inventory, maintain 100% inventory accuracy between actual and system (SAP, G-MES), analyze inventory movement, and manage slow-moving inventory.
Delivery Management: Manage transportation, manage delivery schedules from suppliers (ETD, ETA), and contribute to cost savings.
EO/4M/EOP/New Program Management: Support EO changes and new program launches, minimize premium-shipping costs by managing schedules, control EOP unique materials without excess, and attend MDT meetings for information.
