About The Position

Illuminate USA is hiring a Material Clerk Unpacker to move materials within a warehouse and perform warehouse support tasks. The work includes unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory; operating material-handling equipment; and, as needed, viewing or entering information in a warehouse management system, enterprise resource system, or other database. The position also supports production by following work instructions and targets, meeting quality standards, conducting self-inspections, addressing abnormalities, and maintaining workstation practices. The role is based at Illuminate USA’s solar panel manufacturing facility in Pataskala, Ohio.

Requirements

Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
May require 0–1 year of general work experience.
Outstanding learning and communication ability.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Solid fire safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

Follow production task instructions and complete position production targets.
Adhere to product quality standards; identify, segregate, and rework nonconforming products.
Perform standardized operations according to process standards and reduce losses from defects.
Conduct self-inspections during production and provide timely feedback to the quality department and superiors.
Implement solutions and corrective or preventive measures for abnormalities.
Maintain the standard dress code and follow 6S practices at the workstation.
Comply with company regulations, procedures, and cultural activities, and follow management directives.
Participate in company training, learn the position’s responsibilities, and operate equipment proficiently to complete production tasks on time.
Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Move warehouse materials and perform warehouse support tasks, including unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking inventory.
Operate hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material-handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures.
View or input information in a warehouse management system, enterprise resource system, or other database, as needed.
