The Materials Associate performs a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory control, stockroom, kitting, expediting, shipping and receiving operations in accordance with established procedures. Requirements

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly throughout an 8-hour shift.
Ability to work during a regular work shift (7:00am - 3:30pm), Monday - Friday
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future. The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position. The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.

Nice To Haves

SAP experience.
Stockroom and warehousing experience.
Experience with inventory receiving, packaging and shipment of finished goods.
Flexibility to work outside of the regular work shift and some weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

Receives, checks, stores, issues and ships a variety of items and maintains inventory control.
Organize, stage, and bin materials in their designated warehouse locations; participate in routine cycle counts.
Uses assistance and/or powered mechanical means (not to include forklifts or high bay vehicles) to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material.
Prepares and packages small and large parts using proper procedures and materials.
Processes purchase orders for spare tooling and materials.
Proficiently uses computer hardware/software.
Oversees parts preparation, material handling, measuring and packaging equipment, records calibration logs of tools and equipment.
Performs operator preventative maintenance tasks and refers major breakdowns to machine maintenance.
Oversees inventory and maintains all government tooling property according to military regulations.
Maintains contact with personnel from various customers and supports areas to ensure accuracy of material/process.
Uses assorted measuring and weight recording devices.
Keeps equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
Performs related duties as required within the scope of this job function.
