The company is the global leader in packaging and product integrity testing equipment and serves industries such as Food & Beverage, Flexible Packaging, Paints & Coatings, and various Industrial end markets. This specific role is located in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Requirements

  • Must be organized and maintain a clean, safe work area.
  • Knowledge of standard shipping/receiving and inventory functions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computers and ERP systems, freight systems, receive, pick and issue parts for production.
  • Be a team player, ready and willing to assist others.
  • Participate in LEAN activities to improve efficiency and standard work practices.
  • Ability to generate and understand shipping domestic and international paperwork.
  • Ability to read and understand receiving and work order paperwork.
  • Participate in problem-solving and improvement teams.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. at a time.
  • Must be flexible and available for overtime where necessary.
  • Must be forklift certified.
  • Must be able to drive a box truck.
  • High School or High School equivalent diploma required.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a production environment and/or handling component-level parts.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, ships, picks, kits and cycle counts inventory in accordance with established standards and processes in an electromechanical production environment.
  • Shipping - Domestic and International
  • Receiving, material handling, inventory cycle counts.
  • Identify and segregate any defects found during the receiving or picking process.
  • Cross-train on multiple areas for materials, including Receiving, Shipping, Work Orders, and Kitting.
  • Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives related to materials.
  • Ensure all equipment used is maintained in accordance with company protocols.
  • Perform additional duties beyond the scope of work upon request.
