About Large Power Systems Division (LPSD): We design and manufacture the most comprehensive lineup of large diesel and natural gas engines in the industry, as well as engine components and powertrains. Job Summary: As a Match Bench Assembler at Caterpillar Pontiac, you will continuously improve process efficiency by sorting engine components and checking for defects.

Requirements

A minimum of 3 months of experience working in a manufacturing or engine maintenance role.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to follow written instructions (ex. Schematics, standard work, and/or blueprints).
Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of functions to prepare components for shipment.
Perform a variety of manual and/or machine repetitive functions including the processing of parts, materials, equipment, supplies, etc. through various stages of manufacturing.
