Mat Service -Trainee
About The Position
Plymate’s Mat Service Trainee works alongside tenured service representatives to learn how to successfully run a route. This training period allows the representative the opportunity to learn every aspect of running a successful route at Plymate. This includes loading and unloading the truck, safe operation of the truck, adapting and navigating varying customer environments both safely and professionally. Additionally, you will learn about all of the products Plymate offers through both rental and lease programs, pricing, inventory management and how to identify route growth opportunities and renew contracts.
Requirements
- Prior customer service experience in a business environment-preferred
- Ability to discuss billing, inventory, customer service- related issues as well as present contract renewal opportunities
- Ability to drive a box truck
- Ability to pass an MVR and criminal background check
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation physical
- Ability to obtain and maintain a For-Hire (chauffer’s) license endorsement
- Age 21 or older
Responsibilities
- Deliver product to customers throughout the route day, ensuring accurate delivery and pricing
- Focus on route growth opportunities
- Building positive relationships with customer base
- Addressing customer needs and concerns
- Tracking contract renewal opportunities
- Efficiently running the route on a daily basis
- Providing top notch customer service to customers, while building relationships
- Identifying route growth opportunities.
