About The Position

Wellpath is seeking a Registered Nurse to assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Under the supervision of the Charge Nurse(s), the RN will direct and guide patient teaching and activities that commensurate with their education and demonstrated competencies. This role is part of our Medication-Assisted Treatment program and operates on a Monday-Friday schedule from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assessment and planning of individual treatment programs for patients, consulting with relevant staff members as needed.
• Implement individualized treatment programs as directed by Health Care Practitioner, administering medications and obtaining diagnostic tests in accordance with orders and protocols.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols, including proper safety techniques, procedures and standard precautions.
• Respond to patient crises as set forth by site policy and procedure, and assist Health Care Practitioner in medical procedures as necessary.
• Document nursing encounters using SOAP form of charting, attend mandatory staff meetings and training, and communicate information to relevant staff members as necessary.
