About The Position
Guide patients on their journey to mental wellness.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing and current Kentucky Board of Nursing APRN Licensure.
- Or a Licensed Physician’s Assistant by the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure.
- 1 year of experience.
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory motor vehicle record.
- Dependable transportation.
- Willing to travel throughout the region to conduct clinics.
Nice To Haves
- DEA License
- three to five years’ experience working in MOUD population
Responsibilities
- Conducts MOUD education.
- Performs psychiatric evaluations.
- Provides MOUD treatment including Vivitrol and Buprenorphine.
- Provides ongoing psychiatric medication for those needing it along with their MOUD treatment.
- Provides emergency and consultation services.
- Provides consultation services to community as requested.
- Attends treatment planning conferences within the agency.
- Consults with other staff and maintains updated medical records.
- Work closely under the supervising Doctor following all recommendations.
- Other duties as assigned.
