About The Position

The MAT Clinician provides high-quality 5150 assessments, disposition and limited case management services for clients in emergency departments and on medical floors. Evaluations for assessment, intervention, triage and teaching shall be provided in a manner consistent with the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of Heritage Oaks Hospital.
Assess patients and write 5150s at Mercy Hospitals as appropriate.
Respond to the four Mercy Hospitals in Sacramento or other medical facility within one hour of being called.
Competency with Mercy Hospital’s computerized charting system, including the following additional notations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social services or behavioral health field.
• A minimum of two (2) years licensed experience working in crisis settings with psychiatric patients is required.
• LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT license
• Valid CA driver license and clear driving record
• Current CPR certificate
• Handle with Care trained within 30 days of employment
