About The Position

Apache Mills, Inc., a worldwide leader in floor mat manufacturing, has immediate openings to join our growing company as a member of our Operations Team. We are currently seeking Mat Assemblers for our fast-paced manufacturing operations. This position is regularly scheduled for Monday - Friday, require Saturdays Manufacturing hours may fluctuate. There are immediate advancement opportunities for those with the desire, the initiative, and that perform above expectations.

Requirements

Ability to lift 30-50 pounds plus.
Ability to accurately locate materials needed.
Work safely in a fast-paced production environment
Maintain regular and predictable attendance
Follow verbal and written instructions
Stand, walk, lift, bend, stoop, and reach while handling material or products
Work cooperatively, courteously, and respectfully with all team members, vendors, and visitors
Perform job duties in variable temperatures based on weather conditions (including hot weather)

Responsibilities

Trim, lift, and stack mats
Walking and standing in small areas
Make sure mats are cut to the spec sheet.
Communicate with the LTO driver to bring rolls to the machine.
Set the machine to cut size.
Cut round corners on the product.
Send product through the saw for it to cut sides to form.
Stack Mat on the pallet for LTO to move to the next stage.
Work well in a team environment.
