About The Position

The Master Scheduler is responsible for generating and managing the master schedule, leading ERP training and implementation of modules within the planning team. This role involves close collaboration with Sales to analyze forecasts and their impact on capacity, and developing and implementing an inventory stock strategy that balances service levels and cash. The position requires presenting data and issues clearly to all levels of the organization, participating in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other departments, and leading additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff. The Master Scheduler maintains the master distribution schedule for the organization, revising it as needed and alerting appropriate staff of changes or delays. The role requires working independently with minimal supervision, being a self-starter, and leading/assisting in special projects. Additionally, the position mandates reporting suspicious and hazardous conditions immediately, observing all safety guidelines, complying with CB policies and procedures, and assisting in maintaining clean, orderly, and hazard-free work areas. The individual must be detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to write and read English
  • BS in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or other related field.
  • Proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including Office (Word & Excel).

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 5 at least years’ experience in a manufacturing environment and working with an MRP/ERP system.
  • Understand purchasing, MRP, continuous improvement methodology, inventory control
  • Understands inventory and lost control.
  • APIC’s certification preferred.

Responsibilities
