About The Position

Sonaca North America is seeking a Master Scheduler. Schedulers are responsible for the development, release, and maintenance of program master schedules, subsequent functional operating schedules, and order release schedules. This position has overall responsibility for master scheduling, which includes incorporating material and plant fabrication lead time setbacks, historical data, and capacity inputs. The Master Scheduler II is also responsible for coordinating the Sales, Inventory and Operations planning process, capacity review cycle (machine and manpower), and the functioning of the scheduling team. This entails the critical evaluation of used efficiency and utilization factors. The position requires significant interaction with schedulers and other plant personnel to ensure the schedule status is accurate and feasible, and to provide necessary feedback to assure manufacturing throughput and support of customer requirements and sales commitments.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Expert experience with an ERP system is required.
  • Ability to understand manufacturing processes and associated workflows.
  • High level of ethics with strong integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred.
  • APICS Certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Production Operations, Production Control, Scheduling, Distribution, Inventory Management, Re-Order Points (ROP) and MRP is helpful.
