About The Position

This role involves monitoring incoming orders, managing the master schedule, customer deliveries, and expedites. The Master Scheduler/Planner will also analyze and approve material requisitions in the MRP system, set standard lead times for contracted items, and conduct quarterly reviews of individual lead times for specific contracts. A key responsibility includes representing the company during customer production readiness audits and managing inventory, including directing yearly inventory counts/audits. The position also requires forecasting material usage, managing material Min/Max levels quarterly, developing and executing purchasing strategies, and overseeing resources, negotiations, and purchasing of all materials. Additionally, the role involves resolving vendor issues that could impact manufacturing and customer needs, and directing personnel involved in buying materials. Additional duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor incoming orders and update and manage master schedule, customer deliveries and customer expedites.
  • Manage internal communications with manufacturing, engineering, Sales and other support departments to effectively meet customer demands.
  • Analyze and approve material requisitions for each order in the MRP system.
  • Set standard lead times for all contracted items; quarterly reviews of individual lead times for contracts such as Boeing.
  • Represent Lamsco West Inc as a direct focal for customer production readiness audits.
  • Inventory management and ownership; direct yearly inventory counts/audits.
  • Forecast material usage and manage material Min/Max, quarterly.
  • Develops and executes purchasing strategy.
  • Responsible for the overall resources, negotiations and purchasing of all materials.
  • Resolve vendor issues that may affect manufacturing and customer needs.
  • Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying materials.
