This role involves monitoring incoming orders, managing the master schedule, customer deliveries, and expedites. The Master Scheduler/Planner will also analyze and approve material requisitions in the MRP system, set standard lead times for contracted items, and conduct quarterly reviews of individual lead times for specific contracts. A key responsibility includes representing the company during customer production readiness audits and managing inventory, including directing yearly inventory counts/audits. The position also requires forecasting material usage, managing material Min/Max levels quarterly, developing and executing purchasing strategies, and overseeing resources, negotiations, and purchasing of all materials. Additionally, the role involves resolving vendor issues that could impact manufacturing and customer needs, and directing personnel involved in buying materials. Additional duties may be assigned.
