This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR (which generally means (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, as specified under applicable law. The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the master production schedule to meet customer delivery commitments, company revenue objectives, and production capacity. This role coordinates production priorities, monitors schedule performance, and works closely with Production, Customer Service, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery. This position plans and schedules production by reviewing material availability, routings, capacity, and inventory levels. Responsibilities include releasing and updating job orders in the Made2Manage (M2M) ERP system, expediting critical orders, monitoring work-in-process, and serving as the liaison between Production and Customer Service to communicate schedule changes and resolve production issues. The role is also responsible for all purchasing activities for the site. This includes preparing and issuing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality, maintaining approved supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and lead times, and identifying cost-reduction opportunities while ensuring compliance with company policies and quality requirements.
