Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Currently enrolled in a Master's program working towards a counseling or social work degree.
  • The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must successfully complete all required background and pre-employment checks EEO/AA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based practices for delivering therapy to children, adults and families including case management, through individual sessions, group therapy, milieu treatment for clients within CHS programs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clients progress, treatment plans and clinical notes in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Develop individualized Master Treatment Plans, prepare Quarterly Treatment Plan reviews and Discharge Summaries with treatment team.
  • Maintain communication and work in cooperation with referral agencies.
  • Help support discharge planning by finding community resources, identifying outpatient services, making referrals, and preparing recommendations for ongoing care.
  • Provide supervision and management of children as necessary.
  • Attend required annual training.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and peer consultation to enhance professional development and ensure best practices.
