About The Position
Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is seeking a paid, part-time Master’s Level Counseling / Social Work Intern to join our Family Centered Treatment (FCT) team beginning Fall 2026. This 9-month internship offers hands-on clinical experience while supporting families in their homes and communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a human services or related field
- Enrollment in a Master's program in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy
- Ability to meet internship agreement requirements with your university
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, couples, group, and substance use counseling under supervision
- Deliver psychoeducation, skill-building, and therapeutic mentoring
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop strength-based treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in weekly clinical supervision
