About The Position

Reporting to the Plant Operations Manager, the Master Production Scheduler leads Pikeville, KY production planning and scheduling activities for the Accelerator business - the division supporting KIND, Tru Fru, Nature’s Bakery, and the newly acquired Kellanova brands. The role is responsible for developing and executing production schedules, coordinating material availability, and partnering with operations, maintenance, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure efficient plant performance and delivery against customer demand. As the Accelerator division continues to evolve, this role will play a key part in driving operational efficiency, optimizing inventory levels, supporting business growth, and building strong cross-functional partnerships to enable successful execution of production and supply plans.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Understanding of production operation, scheduling procedures, and previous demonstrated experience with scheduling
Proven proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
Ability to effectively communicate and problem solve
Experience scheduling across departments

Responsibilities

Create the weekly production schedule aligned with corporate requirements.
Understand departmental complexities and effectively communicate across teams to meet scheduling needs.
Strategically procure raw and pack materials to guarantee inventories at the lowest dollar levels while ensuring material availability to meet the plant’s production schedule.
Interact with vendors and corporate product availability team to work through challenges.
Ensure all material checks are completed to support each schedule.
Assist in resolving material quality issues and coordinating inter-plant transfers.
