About The Position

The Master Production Planner role is responsible for planning rough cut capacity and providing monthly production volumes across all plant locations. The incumbent will also plan production actions for peak seasons and times of extended shutdowns.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience
1 year of experience in production planning or order management
Equivalent combinations of education and applicable production planning or order management experience will be considered
Strong working knowledge of SAP
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Minimal travel, 0-15 days per year
Incumbent must be physically able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Assess plant production hours availability
Track and report curtailments, planned shutdowns and line yields
Analyze net inventory with forecasted shipments to determine necessary production
Provide rough cut capacity reports and oversee approval of out-of-pattern shipments
Stock transport orders between plants and ensure movement of production during times of limited supply
Run capacity, manufacturing, distribution and site location/cost scenarios
Manage key supplier purchasing forecasts to optimize inventories and service levels
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
