About The Position

Manages and maintains a module of the co-production operations master schedule. Provides variance reports to the master schedule on a daily basis. This role integrates various elements like GIV, GV, spares, periodic maintenance, tool conversion, ASCs, and flight test within the scheduling module. It involves interfacing with Department Managers to status, forecast, and build recovery plans, analyzing scheduling data for accuracy, and developing 'what-if' models for strategic planning. The position also provides detailed information to the mainframe scheduling database, manages the route card release function, and serves as the single point of contact for post-production requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • 5 years of related experience in either master production scheduling or project management administration.
  • Knowledge of aircraft processes and procedures relating to engineering design, production and budget.
  • Understanding of resource planning, rough cut capacity planning, detail capacity planning, crew loading, resource leveling and cost schedule control.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of MRP.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in personal computer applications such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, Excel (spreadsheets) and Power Point.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 3 plus years experience in scheduling functions in Savannah Completion Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Integrates GIV, GV, spares, periodic maintenance, tool conversion, ASCs, flight test and other elements within the scheduling module.

  • Analyzes scheduling data for variability, cohesiveness and accuracy.
  • Develops what if models necessary to assist co-production strategic planning.
  • Provides detailed information to the main frame scheduling database.
  • Manages the route card release function.
  • Provides delivery dates and status as the single point of contact for all post production requirements (spares, completion center, flight test, etc.).
  • Conducts daily schedule status meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
