Master Plumber Full Time Position

About The Position
We are actively seeking a licensed Master Plumber in the State of Michigan to support a growing operation in mainly residential & minimal commercial service work. This role offers consistent, daily jobs for a professional who can oversee 8-10 plumbers ensuring all residential plumbing and drain cleaning jobs are completed to code. You will split your time working in the office and working in the field supporting plumbers.
Requirements
- Active Master Plumber License (Michigan) with Plumbing Contractors License
- Experience with residential plumbing installation and drain cleaning
- Strong understanding of local plumbing codes
- Ability to handle a high daily workload
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques safely.
- Familiarity with residential plumbing and drain cleaning experience, including teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials needed for projects.
Nice To Haves
- A valid commercial driving license is preferred for transportation of materials to job sites.
- Previous maintenance person experience or maintenance skills will be considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Assist in writing accurate estimates on larger jobs.
- Perform plumbing connections including water lines, drains, and gas hookups.
- Must have experience in drain cleaning and sewer systems.
- Ensure all work complies with Michigan plumbing codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site.
- Maintain professionalism at customer locations.
- Complete required job documentation.
- Holding Plumbers accountable for their work and daily responsibilities.
