Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • Planning and Procurement experience required.
  • At least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment comparable to the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of cGMP's and regulated environments required.
  • Detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solving skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP experience is desired.
  • APICS certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage production planning duties to ensure production plans are created while evaluating material availability to support customer requirements while also ensure that we are optimizing the plant efficiencies and resources.
  • Plans, prepares, analyzes, and controls production schedules and material requirements to ensure orderly flow and delivery of customer requirements.
  • Professionally manages cross functional relationships to ensure business objectives are met.
  • Communicates clearly with internal customers to ensure timely, accurate flow of information.
  • Coordinates closely with Manufacturing, Packaging, Customer Service, Procurement, Quality Services, Tech Services, Engineering and Maintenance, IT, and Business Development.
  • Analyzes and plans, anticipate obstacles and resource constraints, and develops contingency strategies to meet organizational priorities.
  • Runs capacity planning scenarios, evaluating new business opportunities, identifying potential bottlenecks or shortages in both machine and resource capacities.
  • Develops contingency plans when required.
  • Assists in the Development and management of Department budget(s) within predetermined standards.
  • Assists the internal S&OP process, providing production details and reports and analysis, where required.
  • Ensure timely responses to customer production requests.
