About The Position
Looking for a Master Mechanic for a heavy equipment company to be a Field Technician. A mechanic who is a jack of all trades and can troubleshoot and repair a wide range of equipment. Competitive pay and benefits offered! Must have a clean driving record to drive the company truck.
Requirements
- Solid working knowledge of heavy equipment, tractors, and trailers.
- Someone who takes their time and demands perfection in their work.
- Clean driving record to drive the company truck.
Nice To Haves
- Understanding of the difference between flow and pressure, and basic hydraulic principles.
- Familiarity with 5V reference systems versus carb systems, and the difference between 12V and 24V, volts, and amps.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair a wide range of heavy equipment including 18 wheelers and sometimes smaller utility duty trucks (including F150s), running on gas, diesel, or electric power.
- Service of tractor-trailers.
- Perform diagnostics and repair on cooling systems, hydraulic systems, and turbos, including removal and replacement.
- Fuel injector remanufacturing and coating injector work.
