About The Position

This role is for a Master Mechanic/Electrician 1 at the Eaton Container facility. The position involves troubleshooting and repairing programmable controllers, A/C and D/C drives, and their control systems. The goal is to maximize equipment utilization by maintaining machinery to run at available capacity and speed. Responsibilities include following up on work orders, ensuring repairs are performed correctly and entered into the maintenance software, and planning/scheduling maintenance work. The role also requires compliance with all company policies, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
Experience in a corrugated facility is strongly preferred.
Must demonstrate proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, motor controls & drives, mechanical power transmissions, welding & metal fabrication, pneumatic & hydraulic troubleshooting & repair, lift truck safety and PC literacy.
Must successfully complete a maintenance test, drug screen, and background /employment verification.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot programmable controllers and A/C and D/C drives. Make necessary repairs to drives and their control system use.
Maximum the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.
Follow-up all work orders to ensure repairs and work are preformed properly and entered into the maintenance software program.
Plan and schedule maintenance work.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
