Requirements

  • Valid Master Plumber license in accordance with state or local licensing authorities
  • Extensive construction experience with a focus on commercial and residential plumbing projects
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing building codes, local building codes, and construction regulatory compliance
  • Proven ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret technical plans accurately
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading machines, and heavy lifting techniques
  • Experience managing plumbing teams on large-scale projects with effective team supervision skills
  • Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to plumbing systems and project planning
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze building codes and perform building code analysis effectively
  • Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills for client interactions
  • Valid driver’s license for commercial driving duties when required for site visits or material transport

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems related to plumbing infrastructure is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage plumbing teams on various construction sites, coordinating tasks to ensure timely project completion
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan plumbing installations and repairs accurately
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including domestic water systems, waste disposal, and HVAC-related piping
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, plumbing building codes, and construction regulatory standards
  • Perform construction estimating for plumbing projects by assessing materials, labor, and time requirements
  • Conduct building code analysis to ensure all plumbing work adheres to current regulations and safety protocols
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
  • Supervise field service activities including troubleshooting plumbing issues on-site and performing system maintenance or repairs
  • Manage construction plans and schematics to execute projects accurately while coordinating with other trades such as carpentry or HVAC
  • Oversee pipe threading, assembly, remodeling projects, and general construction plumbing tasks with precision
  • Maintain excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients about project progress and addressing concerns promptly
  • Ensure all construction site activities are compliant with safety standards and environmental regulations
