About The Position

Summit Psychological Associates, Inc. is seeking a master's level LPC/LPCC or LSW/LISW for full or part-time openings. This role involves providing forensic services, with potential specialization in their sex offender treatment program, including additional training. The agency is CARF certified for forensic services and certified by the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections for diagnostic assessment and treatment of adults charged or convicted of sex offenses. A weekly forensic treatment team meeting provides support and discussion on programming and client care. Comprehensive training is provided for working with the forensic population, with specialized training for those working with adults who have committed sex offenses. A Master's Level Psychology Assistant with individual and/or group treatment experience will also be considered. The agency offers supervision towards licensure for non-independent clinicians. While a full-time clinician is preferred, part-time is also considered. Services are delivered at the Akron Office, with a potential for one day a week at the Canton location. Services include individual and group counseling, with a blend of in-office, in-person services and remote telehealth for eligible clients and activities. Requirements

• Master's level LPC/LPCC or LSW/LISW
• Experience in providing individual and/or group treatment (for Psychology Assistant consideration)
• Current paneling by insurance companies is preferred but not required
• Independent clinicians with supervisor credentials are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Individual and group counseling for adolescents and adults referred by mental health or drug courts
• Individual and group counseling with clients in the sex offender treatment program
• Individual counseling with clients who have developmental disabilities and forensic involvement
• Group counseling for domestic violence perpetrators
• Individual and Group counseling for dual mental health and substance use
• Participate in weekly forensic treatment team meetings to discuss programming and client care and provide support to team members.
