About The Position

Centerstone's Internships offer opportunity for master's level students across a variety of behavioral health programs. Placements may be clinic-based, community-based, or a combination of both, depending on program needs. Interns will gain experience providing behavioral health services to diverse populations under clinical supervision. Previous mental health experience is preferred but not required. This is a part-time, unpaid internship. Placement is based on program availability and educational requirements.

Requirements

• Student in good standing currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in professional counseling, marriage and family therapy, or social work.
• Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous mental health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group therapy as part of internship required by Master's program in counseling, marriage/family therapy, social work, or related field of study.
• Perform initial assessments, maintain treatment plans and complete all clinical documentation.
