About The Position

AMIkids is actively hiring for a Master Level Counselor, with Independent Licensure in the State preferred, but not required. Team Members are essential to the success of the Youth. As a Master Level Counselor with AMIkids, the role involves performing and ensuring that individualized clinical needs are met for Youth by providing clinical treatment through development, implementation, and general oversight of specialized services (screening, assessments, treatment planning, therapy, crisis intervention, and referrals).

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related Human Services field

Nice To Haves

• Independent Licensure in the State
• LPC licensure through the South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists or the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners
• LMFT licensure through the South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists or the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners
• LISW licensure through the South Carolina Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists or the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examiners
• Registered Intern Status / Reciprocal licensure for another state may be considered
• Experience working with at-risk youth

Responsibilities

• Perform and ensure that individualized clinical needs are met for Youth
• Provide clinical treatment through development, implementation, and general oversight of specialized services
• Conduct screening, assessments, treatment planning, therapy, crisis intervention, and referrals
