Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
6+ years of hands-on experience in the Building Automation or HVAC Controls industry.
Hold a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier.
Lift items up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as squat and climb for extended periods.
Capable of working over 8 feet above grade and proficient in the use of ladders and motorized lift equipment.

Nice To Haves

Degree or Technical Certificate in HVAC, Controls, or a related field.
Acts as a technical authority and mentor to junior/mid-level engineers while driving continuous process improvements and high-performance standards.
Leads the full turnkey delivery, commissioning, and expert-level troubleshooting of advanced DDC and integrated building automation platforms.
Demonstrates expert-level proficiency in secure TCP/IP networking and the seamless integration of diverse, broad-scale building technologies.
Serves as the primary senior contact for escalated issues and high-stakes technical discussions, providing tailored solutions and advanced end-user training.
Oversees turnkey delivery of projects with full accountability for quality and performance.

Responsibilities

Own the full execution of professional building automation installations—from field mobilization through final commissioning—under any operational conditions.
Install and deliver complex, high-risk, and business-critical systems. You serve as the final technical authority, resolving the toughest controls and integration challenges.
Take ownership of quality outcomes for the entire field team. You set the execution standards and hold team members accountable for workmanship, documentation accuracy, and customer commitments.
Actively develop the next generation of field leaders. You provide the mentorship, coaching, and technical leadership required to elevate performance across all experience levels.
Partner with Supervisors, Project Managers, and Sales to assess and mitigate technical, schedule, and contractual risks across the branch project portfolio.
Demonstrate total mastery of ALC products, system architectures, and ASHRAE guidelines. Apply this expertise to ensure safe, high-performance system delivery across diverse customer environments.
Travel as needed to support dynamic field demands. You remain adaptable to changing schedules and priorities, recognizing that field execution directly impacts the company's reputation and retention.
