About The Position

Talent Vision is partnering with a public charter school to recruit a Master Elementary School Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This role is an opportunity for a dedicated educator who is committed to delivering rigorous, culturally responsive instruction and fostering the academic, social, and emotional growth of elementary students in grades K–5. The Master Elementary School Teacher will serve as a lead teacher and instructional leader in the classroom while partnering with school leadership, families, and colleagues to advance student achievement and build a positive, inclusive school community. This role includes curriculum planning, data-driven instruction, coaching and mentoring of colleagues when applicable, and active participation in professional development and school-wide initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
  • Valid state teaching certification for elementary grades (K–5) or commitment to obtain certification prior to start date.
  • Minimum of two years of elementary classroom teaching experience preferred; candidates with exceptional early-career experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated expertise in standards-based instruction, assessment, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Strong classroom management skills and experience implementing social-emotional learning and restorative practices.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to culturally responsive teaching, equity, and serving diverse student populations, particularly in underserved communities.
  • Ability to adapt, receive coaching, and demonstrate a growth mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with common instructional technologies and learning management systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned instruction for elementary students (K–5) that meets diverse learning needs and promotes academic growth.
  • Use formative and summative assessment data to design differentiated instruction, interventions, and progress monitoring for students.
  • Create and maintain a classroom culture that is inclusive, restorative, and centered on high expectations for all learners.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, units, and assessments aligned to district and state standards and school curriculum maps.
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams, instructional coaches, and school leaders to analyze student data, refine instructional practices, and implement school initiatives.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, classroom expectations, and opportunities for family engagement.
  • Participate in professional learning, including summer orientation, staff meetings, and ongoing training throughout the school year.
  • Serve as a mentor or coach to early-career teachers or teacher candidates when assigned, modeling effective instructional strategies and providing constructive feedback.
  • Support classroom management, behavior supports, and social-emotional learning practices in partnership with school support staff.
  • Contribute to school-wide events, committees, and collaborative problem-solving to continuously improve student experience and outcomes.
