About The Position

We are seeking experienced Master Electricians to deploy in support of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers disaster response and infrastructure recovery efforts throughout the United States and its territories, including Puerto Rico, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In this role, the Master Electrician will lead and support electrical inspections, repairs, installations, troubleshooting, and restoration activities in a fast-paced field environment. This position will also include leading and directing Apprentice and Journeyman Electricians, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable codes, safety standards, and project requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial, industrial, or infrastructure electrical experience, proven field leadership abilities, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and code compliance. This opportunity is well-suited for a dependable, hands-on professional who is comfortable working extended schedules and contributing to critical federal recovery operations in deployment-based environments.

Requirements

  • Valid Master Electrician license or certification within the United States.
  • Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex electrical distribution systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience supporting federal, military, USACE, FEMA, or government projects
  • Experience with disaster response, emergency power restoration, or infrastructure recovery work
  • Strong background in commercial, industrial, or institutional electrical systems
  • Ability to supervise Journeyman, Apprentice, and electrical support personnel
  • Experience reviewing electrical plans, drawings, diagrams, and specifications
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for power distribution, generators, panels, circuits, and temporary power systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform QA/QC checks to ensure electrical work is completed accurately, safely, and in compliance with project specifications, NEC requirements, and applicable safety standards.
  • Lead and support electrical inspection, repair, installation, and restoration activities
  • Supervise Journeyman, Apprentice, and electrical support personnel in the field
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, panels, generators, and temporary power setups
  • Review and interpret electrical plans, drawings, diagrams, and specifications
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with requirements and project specifications
  • Support temporary and permanent power restoration efforts
  • Coordinate daily work activities with project managers, site supervisors, and other trade professionals
  • Identify electrical hazards, deficiencies, and repair needs on-site
  • Document completed work, site conditions, materials used, and any issues requiring follow-up
  • Support emergency response and infrastructure recovery operations as needed
