About You: As the Master Electrician, you are a part of Best People. The Master Electrician will utilize our Best Systems to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced production environment. You have the skills to install and repair electrical conduit and wiring. As the Master Electrician, you have the experience and ability to install and troubleshoot low voltage electrical systems and motors ranging from 24V up to 480V. Your experience reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting both PLC systems and lighting systems, along with your experience in high voltage systems in substations makes you a subject matter expert in your field and helps us to deliver Best Results to our clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
  • Training equivalent to journeyman status or electrical certification
  • Proficiency using maintenance planning software packages such as eMaint, MP2 or Maximo
  • Experience performing work safely both indoors and outdoors.
  • Experience and willingness working weekends.
  • Experience and ability to safely lift items up to 70 lbs.
  • Experience working in hot and damp environments, wearing PPE, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing/walking for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, able to manage time and priorities to assist with multiple projects
  • Excellent attention to detail, craftsmanship, and 5Ss

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Install and repair electrical conduit and wiring.
  • Install and troubleshoot low voltage electrical systems and motors ranging from 24V up to 480V.
  • Read electrical schematics.
  • Troubleshoot PLC systems and lighting systems.
  • Work with high voltage systems in substations.
