About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring a Master Electrician to inspect, test, repair, install, and modify electrical components and systems at UK HealthCare in Lexington, Kentucky. This is a first-shift role scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The position requires work that complies with applicable electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.

Requirements

3–5+ years of experience in a commercial, industrial, or healthcare setting.

High school diploma or GED and a certificate of completion from a trade or vocational school.

Nice To Haves

Journeyman's Electrical License.
Valid, unencumbered driver's license.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and make timely repairs.
Follow the National Electrical Code and state and local building regulations.
Document repairs and service information as required.
Safely operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work.
Apply working knowledge of electrical theory and related principles, materials, and equipment.
Perform work in accordance with electrical codes, blueprints, and standards.
