U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking an Electrician to work on a project in Southeast Virginia. The qualified applicant will be responsible for the preventive maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and digital tunnel and bridge systems equipment. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of field electrical experience in preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial electrical components, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical components up to 480 VAC 3-phase systems. The electrician will maintain electrical wiring systems, read blueprints and schematics, diagnose electrical problems, and ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code and Industry Standards. Responsibilities include operating and using tools safely, assembling and installing electrical apparatuses, estimating project costs, inspecting completed work, and maintaining tools and equipment. The role also involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical load centers and distribution systems, analyzing operational characteristics, and responding to emergency situations. Experience with traffic monitoring and control systems is a plus. The ability to communicate effectively, work in a bucket truck, and perform other assigned duties is also required.
