About The Position
Air Liquide Advanced Materials is seeking a Master Data Business Process Owner to architect and govern the digital supply chain, focusing on 13 critical data objects across a global manufacturing footprint. This role involves serving as the Business Process Owner (BPO) and SimpleMDG Super-User, driving system optimization, data quality, and strategic process evolution. The position offers a pay range of $105k - $130k/yr with an 8% annual bonus and a hybrid work schedule.
Requirements
- 5+ years in SAP MDM or functional consulting.
- Strong S/4HANA familiarity.
- Proven ability in 'Process Discovery'—translating complex technical requirements into repeatable work instructions.
- Continuous learner capable of mastering technical dependencies between Finance, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.

- SimpleMDG experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the setup of the global hierarchy of Master Data Management (MDM) documentation (L1 Policies to L4 Work Instructions) as the PMO lead during the project state.
- Conduct periodic annual reviews to ensure documentation aligns with evolving global operations in the steady state.
- Utilize SimpleMDG to build automated business rules, aiming to reduce manual effort for approximately 3,000 annual transactions.
- Establish and monitor a KPI framework (e.g., First-Time Right rates, Turnaround Time, Data Completeness) for the India Global Capability Centre (GCC).
- Design and oversee systematic 'Automated Data Profiling' to identify duplicates and errors across core objects.
- Conduct regular QA audits and provide technical training to upskill the GCC team.
- Serve as the primary MDM contact for plant managers and controllers in Asia and the US.
- Lead MDM requirements for ad-hoc global projects, including S/4HANA upgrades, new 'bolt-on' integrations, and SAP deployments in new geographies.
- Provide technical expertise for the evolution of the digital supply chain and legacy data cleansing.
