About The Position

We are seeking a Master Data Analyst to serve as a recognized subject matter expert and lead data governance efforts, defines standards and collection/maintenance rules, promote the "data as an asset" concept, and collaborates closely with business and IT counterparts to deploy scalable master data solutions.

Requirements

  • Recognized expert with specialized depth and breadth in Data, Analytics & Insights, specifically within Master Data Management (MDM).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of MDM strategy, data modeling, master/reference data groups, taxonomies, and governance framework implementation.
  • Proven capability to solve complex problems independently, take a broad perspective on business issues, and recommend best practices.
  • Strong ability to guide and mentor Associates, lead functional project teams, and maintain structured communication across business and IT units.

Responsibilities

  • Define Master Data strategy, data models, standards, taxonomies, and policies across different data domains in line with business needs.
  • Identify and deploy data standards, collection rules, and maintenance guidelines to continuously monitor and improve data quality.
  • Define ownership of Master & Reference Data groups and develop, document, and maintain MDM governance processes.
  • Educate and train the broader data management organization and business data owners on governance processes and compliance rules.
  • Drive the implementation of tools and systems interventions to deploy master data solutions across business segments and markets.
  • Define, review, and approve new or modified data standards, business rules, and master data maintenance procedures.
  • Connect multiple sources of information to solve complex cross-functional problems and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Drive organizational change to align strategic business needs into data harmonization, advocating for the "data as an asset" model.
  • Ensure clear communication, alignment, and input between business unit stakeholders and IT counterparts.
  • Prioritize base business initiatives focused on data standards, process development, and system implementation.
  • Interpret internal and external business issues, evaluate broad perspectives, and recommend industry best practices.
  • Lead functional teams or special projects, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to other Associates.
