About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Master Automotive Technician to join a busy automotive service team. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technician who can independently diagnose complex vehicle issues, perform major mechanical repairs, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and consistently deliver high-quality repairs. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, extensive hands-on repair experience, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • Experienced automotive technician required
  • Master-level diagnostic and repair experience strongly preferred
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive systems
  • Experience performing major mechanical repairs
  • Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems and technology
  • Ability to use automotive diagnostic tools and scan equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical information and repair procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license required

Nice To Haves

  • ASE certifications and/or manufacturer certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose complex automotive mechanical and electrical problems
  • Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs
  • Complete major mechanical repairs and component replacements
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and drivability issues
  • Use diagnostic equipment and scan tools to identify vehicle problems
  • Interpret diagnostic results and determine appropriate repair procedures
  • Perform engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake, and other major repairs
  • Follow manufacturer repair procedures and technical specifications
  • Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Document diagnostic findings, repairs, and parts used
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Communicate repair findings and recommendations clearly
  • Work independently while also supporting the overall service team
  • Stay current on automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and repair techniques
  • Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
