Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic | Up To $50/Hr & Weekends Off | Grapevine
About The Position
We are looking for a master technician who is energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technician we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests. Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first. All 300+ CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacture-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools. CBA shops also offer their technicians a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support and access to our private Technician Assistance Center.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers
- 8+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Strong experience with both domestic and import vehicles
- Have the drive and the ability to flag 40-50+ hours per week
- Knowledgeable with reflashing/reprogramming process, all vehicle systems
- Demonstrated diagnostic and service expertise in the areas of driveability, electrical, powertrain/drivetrain systems, and other mechanical systems, domestic and import
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Must possess a valid Texas driver’s license
- Must have current ASE certifications including L1.
Nice To Haves
- Diesel Experience helpful but not required
Responsibilities
- Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guest
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
- Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
