About The Position

Southeast Dermatology Specialists is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and patient-focused Master Aesthetician / Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Douglasville, Georgia. This dual-role position provides advanced aesthetic services while also supporting physicians and advanced practice providers with clinical medical assisting duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Georgia Master Aesthetician License required.
• Minimum 2 years of aesthetic experience, in a dermatology clinic or medical spa.
• Strong knowledge of dermatology and aesthetic procedures.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organizational skills.
• EMR proficiency.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the workday.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must possess close and distance vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with microneedling, Hydrafacials, and lasers preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
• Energetic, team-oriented professional passionate about combining medical dermatology with aesthetic skincare while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform skin assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Perform medical-grade facials, microneedling, laser treatments (preferred) and more.
• Educate patients on skincare and products.
• Follow up with patients and maintain treatment documentation.
• Assist physicians/providers during dermatology procedures.
• Room patients, obtain histories, vitals, and document in EMR.
• Assist with biopsies, excisions, wound care, and other office procedures.
• Coordinate prescriptions, prior authorizations, scheduling, and patient communications.
• Maintain inventory, treatment rooms, OSHA/HIPAA compliance, and perform other assigned duties.
