About The Position

We are seeking a certified Massage Therapist to join our successful clinical spa. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate should be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team. We are looking for deep tissue massage therapists (Certified) with a love of their craft, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic. Preferably with deep tissue/injury based experience. Full or part time is welcome, hence the range in pay listed. Hours can be somewhat flexible within reason. All of our staff love what we do and take pride in offering our clients excellent massage therapy - we'd like to bring in another like-minded massage nerd to join our team. Some skill sharpening hands-on training available. Daily stress resulting from a high pressured work environment, the responsibilities of family life, or the fatigue from exercise routines and traveling can produce unwanted tension in our musculature. "Massage geeks" welcome! We love people who can think through a stubborn muscle problem, and offer focused, specific work to clients to help them improve. Although we do have clients who have massage for stress relief and relaxation, we need MT's who can work with anyone. We look for massage staff that is kind, knowledgeable, and has a desire to assist clients professionally towards their goals, and hopefully build a foundation that will create a positive relationship for years to come.

Requirements

Hold current license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy
Capable of performing deep tissue massage modalities
Punctuality is a must
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
High level of ethics and integrity.
A passion for helping people feel their best.

Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
Maintain accurate records of each session
Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals
Ensure a clean and safe facility
Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.
