Requirements
- Must have current NC license in massage therapy
- Ability to work full days
- Positive attitude and ability to create a harmonious environment for clients and fellow coworkers
Nice To Haves
- No Previous Massage Experience needed
- We train on all therapies we provide. Prior ayurvedic protocols are not required.
Responsibilities
- Providing relaxation or treating body pain and discomfort through physical touch and moving a client’s muscles in a wholistic healing environment based in Ayurvedic treatments.
- Techniques may include Abhyanga therapy, Shirodhara, sweat therapy, and other ayurveda bodywork techniques.
- Using medicated oils for the body and essential oils for the marma points.
- Being guided by an ayurvedic practitioner on treatment recommendations for a client.
- Facilitating the cleansing, well-being, and rejuvenation of each client through treatments, including therapies in the Panchakarma program.
- Creating a caring and healing environment for the client and their journey.
