Massage Therapist (part-time) at Aurora Wellness Center
About The Position
HealthFitness, a Trustmark company, is a leader in providing fitness solutions that engage and connect people both on-site and online, to create a strong community of health. Aurora Wellness Center, managed by HealthFitness, is seeking a passionate Part-Time Massage Therapist (10 hours/week) to help members relax, recover, and thrive in a supportive, wellness-focused environment. The role involves administering professional massage services to a wide variety of members and guests, performing various massage modalities, and adjusting delivery to meet individual needs. The therapist will also be expected to learn about body treatments and provide on-site chair massage in corporate settings, in addition to working in a spa-like environment within a fitness center. The role requires functioning as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and supporting department-wide events and strategies.
Requirements
- Massage Therapy License for the state of Wisconsin required.
- Current Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 45 days of hire.
- 2+ years of massage therapy experience required.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
- Experience in sports massage techniques.
- Good communication skills; listening and verbal.
- Flu vaccination required during the Fall season.

- General understanding of body treatments and be willing and able to learn the products and services provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform numerous massage modalities and adjust delivery mode to address the needs of each customer.
- Provide on site chair massage in a corporate setting (incidental travel, set-up and tear down) in addition to a spa like environment within a fitness center.
- Function as an active member of an integrated health and wellness team and support department wide events and strategies.
